Moonlight was born in 2003 with a vision to design stunning lighting schemes that brought gardens to life when the sun set.

The First Step

The first step for our lighting design is an initial meeting on site between our lighting designers and the client to understand what the project requires and how we can enhance their garden, house, building, art installation, etc. If possible, we can meet with the client on site or in our studio.

Survey

Depending on the size of the project, we make a second visit to the property to survey the scheme making sure we cover all of the areas as discussed in our brief.

Design

During the site visit, we take measurements and photographs to help us to understand the intricacies of the project. A CAD is drawn, plotting the position of the lights and a quotation to supply and install.

Installation

Our installers are specialists in exterior projects and also well versed in interior settings. They understand that if the lighting is not installed correctly, the water ingress will soon show-up the weaknesses in the system. As professionals, we ensure that the design is bespoke and safe, which for us, is vital.

The final steps

This is where the lights are correctly positioned so that they create the desired effect which can really make a difference. This is particularly important for exterior lighting as, unlike inside, there are many variables such as the shape and size of the trees and shrubs.
