David Haslehurst

Managing Director: 

David is the founder of Moonlight Design, starting it in 2003. With over 35 years’ experience as a horticulturist and lighting designer, David combines his skills to create exciting yet practical lighting schemes for private and corporate clients, garden designers, and landscape architects.

Philip Jackson

Technical Director: 

One of the UK’s top lighting specialists, Phil has worked in the trade for more than 35 years. He gained his experience as a lighting installer while working for celebrated lighting expert Peter Burian. Phil is in charge of the installations making sure that all of our work is the high quality we strive for.

Alissa Fiordelmondo

Head of Design: 

Our head lighting designer since 2018. She graduated as a lighting designer from the Accademia di Belle Arti of Macerata (Italy). Alissa takes care of the visual side of the business from lighting visuals and 3D renders to the company brochure and our innovative, evolving office displays.

Fionnuala Larkin

Office Manager & Technical Support: 

Fionnuala is the longest-serving member of staff working for Moonlight Design for over 20 years. After she left school she started at Marks & Spencer dealing with suppliers and distribution. Now, Fionnuala is the office manager with exceptional technical knowledge of lighting and controls.

Laurie Haslehurst

Projects Manager: 

Laurie has worked at Moonlight Design since he was 15 where he started his work experience. Over the last 9 years, he has mostly been working with the installation team, but since achieving his degree, he has moved into the office to help coordinate the projects.

Thomas Goss

Senior Electrician: 

Thomas joined Moonlight Design as our very first apprentice in 2017, shortly after completing his A-Levels. Since then, he has become an integral part of the team. He now plays a key role in organising the work schedule and overseeing day-to-day site activity. Thomas is highly skilled, dependable, and great with clients helping to ensure every project runs smoothly from start to finish.

James Byrne

Electrician: 

James is our newest team member, bringing experience from large-scale solar projects across the South East. A lover of the outdoors in all weathers, he’s happiest working outside and getting stuck in. James also supports the business by creating social media content for the installation side of the company.

Woody

Head of Barketing: 

Woody is a lively six-year-old cockapoo who has firmly established himself as Moonlight Design’s unofficial Head of Barketing. Full of character and always up for a fuss, he brings a playful energy to the office and never fails to lift everyone’s spirits whilst keeping the team company.

Lesley Spalding

Accounts Manager: 

Lesley has been with Moonlight Design for the past 16 years, working as the company’s dedicated Accounts Manager. Responsible for everything from invoicing to managing payments. Lesley is known for her hardworking nature, sharp attention to detail, and reliable approach.
