We presented our lighting design for two basement apartments in central London in March 2026. It is a commercial interior project.

There is very little natural light in the flats, so the lighting had to do more than usual. That is why we specified the CoeLux HT25, which gives the impression that there is natural sunlight in each apartment.

The rest of the scheme works around it. The fittings include Arkoslight Black Foster recessed lights in single, triple and 2x2 versions, coving lighting that washes across the ceiling, vertical coving on the walls, and decorative pendants and wall lights, all on dimmable switches. In the kitchens the coving can be switched together with the cabinet lights to give a softer, mood setting.
