We completed the lighting design for a medium sized garden in Edinburgh, Scotland, in September 2026.
The garden is overlooked by passers by on a public footpath, so the client wanted a scheme that worked in two ways: lit for their own enjoyment, and attractive for anyone walking past in the evening. It is also viewed from the house and from the summerhouse, so it had to look good from every direction, with 360 degree views rather than a single front.

The garden has many levels, and getting the balance right between them was the most important part of the design.
The scheme is low voltage throughout. Hunza is the main brand, with Hunza Pure LED pole spots and border lights used alongside LuxR fittings.

We design lighting for homes, gardens and commercial projects across the UK and overseas. If you would like a garden that looks right from every angle, in Scotland or anywhere else, get in touch with our design team.
